The Reaper of the Depths

A turn-based first-person dungeon crawler RPG starring a human living among the undead in an ancient catacomb when other humans invade.

(Originally) made in 9 days for Dungeon Crawler Jam 2024. Just like my last jam project, any feedback is welcome, and thank you for playing! :D

For those part of the jam in question, I chose two of the four themes for this entry: "Ancient Ruins" (The Catacombs as a whole) and "Solitude" (Not obvious from the start, but it's briefly touched upon near the end. The first theme is definitely the primary one though).

Update - April 30th, 2025:

I've finally updated the game, a bit over a year later! It only took so long cause it got corrupted once and, once I finally finished it, I was waiting for a friend to be able to playtest it, but I've decided to just go ahead and upload it cause I don't want to put it off any longer. I hope this is a significant improvement and that y'all enjoy it if you choose to play TRotD again.

Some important notes about this game:

• There are 4 floors total as of v1.1.0, and they're randomly drawn from a pool of 16 possible floors.
• De' Lor has a skill called "Echolocation" that shows a portion of the current floor's map. This can also be accessed via the "C" key, alongside the new "Vibration Gem" item.
• There are two switches on every floor, and both are required to reach the next floor.
